Weekly Natural Gas Inventory Update

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) released its latest report on Thursday, revealing a net increase of 57 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in working gas storage across the United States for the week ending April 4. This brings the total working gas storage to 1,830 Bcf.

Year-over-Year Comparison

Compared to the same period last year, gas stocks have decreased by 450 Bcf. Despite this weekly increase, the current levels remain 40 Bcf below the five-year average of 1,870 Bcf. However, total working gas storage continues to stay within the five-year historical range, indicating a stable supply situation.
