Google's Massive $75 Billion Investment for 2025
At the Google Cloud Next conference in Las Vegas, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai made a groundbreaking announcement. Google is set to invest a whopping $75 billion in capital expenditure this year, marking a 50% increase from its 2024 investment.

Expanding Cloud WAN Globally
Pichai also revealed the global expansion of Google's private network, Cloud Wide Area Network (WAN), designed to enhance application performance worldwide. "Cloud WAN leverages Google's planet-scale network, optimized for application performance, delivering over 40% faster performance while reducing total cost of ownership by up to 40%," Pichai explained. This innovative solution will be available to all Google Cloud customers later this month.
