Porsche AG Reports Q1 2025 Sales Decline
In the first quarter of 2025, Porsche AG experienced an 8% decrease in deliveries, totaling 71,470 vehicles compared to the previous year. The most significant drops were seen in China, with a 42% decline, and Germany, where sales fell by 34%. Conversely, North America saw a 37% increase in deliveries, reaching 20,698 units.
Electrified Vehicles Gain Momentum
The automaker highlighted a notable rise in electrified vehicle sales, which accounted for 38% of total deliveries. This shift underscores Porsche's commitment to diversifying its product lineup to include more sustainable options.
Future Strategy
Matthias Becker, a member of Porsche's Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, stated, "We will continue to meet the diverse requirements of our customers with a product strategy that includes all three drive variants for two-door sports cars, sports sedans, and sports SUVs well into the 2030s."
