Global Sales Decline

Daimler Truck AG has reported an 8% decrease in global sales for the first quarter of 2025 compared to the previous year. The company delivered 99,812 units, down from 109,911 in the same period of 2024.

Electric Vehicle Sales Drop

Highlighting a concerning trend, battery-electric vehicle sales also fell by 7% year-over-year, totaling just 759 units.

Regional Performance Varies

The Mercedes-Benz Trucks unit saw a significant 18% plunge in deliveries, while Trucks North America experienced a 16% decline. In contrast, Trucks Asia and Daimler Buses reported increases of 16% and 11%, respectively.

Stock Market Reaction

Following the announcement, Daimler Truck's stock price slightly decreased by 0.37%, settling at €32.73 per share.
