Porsche AG Reports Q1 2025 Sales Decline with Notable Regional Variations

In the first quarter of 2025, Porsche AG experienced an 8% decrease in global deliveries, totaling 71,470 vehicles. The most significant drops were recorded in China and Germany, with sales plummeting by 42% and 34%, respectively. Contrastingly, North America saw a 37% increase in deliveries, reaching 20,698 units.

Electrified Vehicles Show Promising Growth

Despite the overall sales downturn, electrified vehicles emerged as a bright spot, accounting for 38% of total deliveries. This shift underscores Porsche's commitment to sustainable mobility and its adaptability to changing consumer preferences.

Future-Proof Strategy Amidst Evolving Market Demands

Matthias Becker, Porsche's Executive Board member for Sales and Marketing, emphasized the company's dedication to catering to diverse customer needs. "Our product strategy, encompassing all three drive variants for various vehicle types, is designed to remain relevant well into the 2030s," Becker stated.
