Daimler Truck Faces 8% Sales Drop in Q1 2025: A Deep Dive into Regional Performances

Global Sales Decline

Daimler Truck AG has reported an 8% decrease in global sales for the first quarter of 2025, compared to the same period in the previous year. The company sold 99,812 units, down from 109,911 vehicles in Q1 2024. Notably, battery-electric vehicle sales also saw a 7% decline, totaling 759 units.

Regional Performance Highlights

Mercedes-Benz Trucks experienced a significant 18% drop in deliveries, with 33,446 units sold. Similarly, Trucks North America reported a 16% decrease, selling 38,992 vehicles. On a brighter note, Trucks Asia saw a 16% increase in sales, delivering 24,772 units, and Daimler Buses enjoyed an 11% rise, with 6,206 vehicles sold.
