By 4:33 am ET, Dow futures had plummeted by 406 points, marking a 0.99% decrease. Similarly, S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures weren't spared, experiencing declines of 0.77% and 0.37%, respectively. The currency markets also felt the impact, with the euro dropping 0.44% against the dollar to $1.10033 by 4:28 am ET.
