The airline is set to enhance its service to five flights weekly by September, responding to the robust demand evidenced by high passenger and cargo load factors. High Demand Drives Expansion

Rakesh Raicar, Regional General Manager for South Asia, Middle East, and Africa at Cathay Pacific, highlighted the overwhelming response to the resumed flights. The inaugural flight recorded a 75% passenger load and full cargo capacity, with subsequent flights achieving full occupancy. This resurgence underscores Hyderabad's growing economic significance and the increasing outbound travel demand from the region.

Strengthening India's Connectivity

With Hyderabad's reintegration into its network, Cathay Pacific now operates 39 weekly flights across five Indian cities. The planned increase to 43 flights weekly post-September will further solidify India's position as a top market for the airline. The diverse travel purposes, including business, leisure, and education, alongside the Telugu diaspora's preference for Cathay Pacific for onward journeys, highlight the airline's pivotal role in fostering international connectivity.
