Leonardo's Bold Move into the Satellite Space

In a strategic move to compete with Elon Musk's Starlink, Leonardo S.p.A., in collaboration with Airbus SE and Thales Group, is set to unveil a European satellite alliance. This initiative marks a significant step in the global satellite communication race.

Future Satellite Launches

Leonardo has also revealed plans to deploy 18 military satellites and 20 civil multi-sensor satellites into orbit by 2027 and 2028, further expanding its footprint in the space sector.
