The Canadian software giant noted a significant improvement in its net loss, which was $7.4 million for the quarter—an 86.8% enhancement compared to the previous year. The diluted loss per share also saw a remarkable reduction, standing at $0.01 against $0.10 from the same quarter in the prior year.
Full Fiscal Year Overview
For the entire fiscal year 2025, BlackBerry's revenue was reported at $534.9 million, a decline from $759.1 million in fiscal 2024. However, the net loss improved to $79 million from $130.2 million, indicating a positive trajectory in the company's financial health.

"BlackBerry closed out this transformational fiscal year with another quarter of strong financial performance from all three divisions: QNX, Secure Communications, and Licensing," stated CEO John Giamattero, highlighting the company's strategic successes.
