Uber and WeRide Partner with Dubai RTA for Autonomous Vehicle Services

In a groundbreaking move, Uber Technologies Inc. and WeRide Inc. have announced a strategic partnership with Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA) to introduce autonomous vehicle (AV) services to the city. The initiative is a key component of Dubai's Self-Driving Transport Strategy, which aims to convert 25% of all journeys into autonomous trips by 2030.
