Hiring and Separation Rates Unchanged

The Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) revealed that hiring rates were unchanged at 5.4 million, with the hires rate remaining at 3.4%. Similarly, total separations, including quits, were steady at 5.3 million, with a separations rate of 3.3%.

Quit Rates Reflect Job Market Confidence

The quits rate, often seen as a measure of worker confidence in the job market, stood at 2%, with 3.2 million quits recorded, indicating no significant change from the previous month.
