Performance Highlights
Within the VN-30 basket, which includes the top 30 largest capped stocks, 16 tickers experienced gains. Notably, VRE of Vincom Retail rose by 3.4%, TPB of TPBank increased by 2.1%, and BID of BIDV closed 1.5% higher.
Declining Stocks
Conversely, ten blue-chip stocks faced declines. FPT of FPT Corporation dropped by 1.9%, SSI of SSI Securities Corporation decreased by 0.9%, and MBB of MB slipped by 0.8%.
Foreign Investment Trends
Foreign investors emerged as net sellers, offloading a total of VND395 billion, with significant sales in FPT and VHM of Vinhomes.
Other Indices
The HNX-Index for mid and small caps on the Hanoi Stock Exchange fell by 0.58%, while the UPCoM-Index for unlisted public companies slightly decreased by 0.08%.
