Tesla Accelerates Towards Full Self-Driving Future in China Awaiting Regulatory Green Light

Tesla's FSD Feature Set to Revolutionize Driving in China

Tesla Inc. has announced a significant update for its Chinese customers. The Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature is on its way to China, pending the completion of the regulatory approval process. This move marks a pivotal step in Tesla's mission to bring autonomous driving technology to one of the world's largest automotive markets.

Upcoming Software Upgrades for Enhanced Performance

In a recent notice, Tesla's Chinese branch shared exciting news for owners. The company is currently upgrading the FSD software to be compatible with both HW3 (Hardware 3) and HW4 (Hardware 4). "Once approved, the FSD feature will be available to all eligible vehicles," Tesla stated, expressing gratitude for the patience and support of its customers.

Earlier, Tesla had initiated a one-month-free trial of the FSD feature for selected users in China, scheduled from March 17 to April 16. However, the trial was unexpectedly paused without any official explanation, leaving many to speculate about the reasons behind this decision.
