This week, the Bank of England, People's Bank of China, Bank of Japan, and the United States Federal Reserve all decided to keep key interest rates unchanged, leading to a mixed reaction across Asia-Pacific stock exchanges.

By 7:00 am CET, the Shanghai Composite had dropped by 1.45%, and the Shenzhen Composite decreased by 1.84%. However, South Korea's Kospi saw a slight increase of 0.13%, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng experienced a significant slump of 2.42% by 7:15 am CET. The Australian S&P/ASX 200 closed slightly higher, up by 0.16%, and Japan's Nikkei 225 remained flat. Additionally, the dollar strengthened by 0.33% against the Japanese yen, trading at 149.50450 shortly after.
