Swiss GDP Growth Forecast Slightly Lowered for 2025 and 2026
In its March report, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of Switzerland has slightly revised down its gross domestic product (GDP) growth estimates. The forecast for 2025 has been adjusted from 1.5% to 1.4%, and for 2026, from 1.7% to 1.6%.

This adjustment indicates that the Swiss economy is expected to grow below its historical average for the next two years. SECO emphasized that this outlook is contingent upon the absence of an escalating global trade war, highlighting the fragile nature of the current global economic environment.
