Deliveries and Production Rates on the Rise

Boeing is on track to deliver Apaches to India this year and hopes to finalize a deal for additional six P8s. With a global delivery of 89 aircraft through January and February 2025, including to Indian customers, Boeing is ramping up its production rates. The company is confident about increasing B787 Dreamliner production from five to seven a month and progressing towards the certification of 777X, with Air India set to receive some of the ordered wide-body aircraft over the next two years.

Strengthening the Aerospace Ecosystem

Boeing's investment in India's aerospace and aviation ecosystem is evident through its contributions to airport development, training programs, MROs, and advanced manufacturing. The company's joint venture with Tata, Boeing Engineering India Technology Centre, and its focus on building a robust supply chain and engineering expertise underscore its long-term commitment to India's growth and, by extension, Boeing's future.

Future Prospects and Leadership Engagement

Boeing's leadership recently met with Prime Minister Modi, discussing various initiatives including the Sukanya program for training women in aviation, aircraft leasing reforms, and urban air mobility. The engagement highlights Boeing's dedication to supporting India's aviation ambitions and strengthening the bilateral relationship between the US and India.
