OPEC's Unchanged Global Growth Forecast

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has maintained its global economic growth forecast for 2025 and 2026 at 3.1% and 3.2%, respectively, signaling a steady outlook despite potential global uncertainties. This announcement came on Wednesday, reflecting confidence in the global economy's resilience.
Regional Economic Outlook
In the United States, GDP growth is projected to remain stable at 2.4% in 2025 and 2.3% in 2026. Similarly, the Eurozone's GDP is expected to grow by 0.9% this year and 1.1% in the next, with no changes from the previous month's estimates. China's economic forecast also remains unchanged, with growth rates of 4.7% for 2025 and 4.6% for 2026.
Monitoring Global Uncertainties
OPEC highlighted the importance of closely monitoring the impact of potential tariffs and other policy measures on the global economy. "While current growth assumptions remain unaffected, the evolving landscape of global trade policies and their implications necessitate vigilant observation," the organization stated in its report.
