Infosys Implements New RTO Guidelines to Boost Delivery Efficiency Amidst WFO Policy

Infosys Rolls Out RTO Guidelines for Enhanced Service Delivery

In a move to ensure effective service delivery to its clients, Infosys has circulated an internal memo to its Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) division's project managers, emphasizing the return-to-office (RTO) guidelines. This initiative aims to address recent delivery and security issues, improve team availability, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Starting April 1, the division will enforce a minimum of three days per week in-office work schedule, tailored according to project teams' needs, location, and offshore development constraints. This strategy is part of Infosys's broader effort to maintain delivery excellence and ensure effective collaboration among team members.

Reiterating the Importance of In-Office Collaboration

Infosys has also reminded its managers of the mandatory ten-day monthly in-office attendance requirement, highlighting the importance of in-office collaboration for effective teamwork and leadership. The company's hybrid work approach allows flexibility while reinforcing the value of physical presence in fostering team engagement and setting standards for team performance.

Despite the push for in-office work, Infosys continues to support remote work flexibility, as evidenced by its plug-and-play facility in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, designed to encourage employees to work from this location. This balanced approach underscores Infosys's commitment to adapting to the evolving work environment while prioritizing service delivery and team collaboration.
