The Wealth Company Sets Sights on Rs 10,000 Crore Fundraise in 2025

CHENNAI: In an ambitious move, The Wealth Company Asset Management is targeting to raise Rs 10,000 crore in the current year (CY2025). This significant fundraising effort includes the launch of the Bharat Value Fund (Series - IV), showcasing the company's commitment to bolstering the manufacturing and renewable energy sectors.

Madhu Lunawat, the managing director, shared insights on the company's strategy, highlighting a successful Rs 4,000 crore raise in the past year. The upcoming Bharat Value Fund (Series - IV) is expected to surpass Rs 3,000 crore, with Lunawat noting the company's efficiency in closing funds within six months to a year.

Expansion plans are also on the horizon, with The Wealth Company aiming to triple its presence in Tamil Nadu, focusing on key cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Trichy. With Chennai currently contributing 5.1% to the total Assets under Management (AUM), the goal is to increase this to 15% over the next two years.
