Reliance and ACC Energy Storage's New Timelines

Following the missed manufacturing deadline, Reliance New Energy Battery and ACC Energy Storage, key beneficiaries of the production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for advanced battery manufacturing, have communicated to the government their revised plans. Both companies anticipate their facilities to be operational within the next six months.

Ola Cell Technology's Manufacturing Plans

Meanwhile, Ola Cell Technology, a subsidiary of Ola Electric and the largest beneficiary with an award for 20 GWh capacity, is targeting to start full-scale manufacturing by July. This move is part of the National Programme on Advanced Chemistry Cell, aiming to boost the country's battery manufacturing capabilities.
