Market Overview
The VN-Index experienced a slight decline, closing 2.44 points lower after a previous session gain of 4.84 points. Trading volume on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange saw a decrease of 0.4%, amounting to VND18.661 trillion (US$730.2 million).

Key Performers and Losers
Within the VN-30 basket, 18 out of the 30 largest capped stocks saw declines. Notably, BVH of Bao Viet Holdings led the drop with a 2.1% decrease. LPB of Fortune Vietnam Bank and HPG of Hoa Phat Group also fell by 1.63% and 1.58%, respectively.
On the brighter side, seven blue chips managed to gain. GVR of Vietnam Rubber Group, PLX of Petrolimex, and VRE of Vincom Retail saw increases of 2.1%, 1.4%, and 1.2%, respectively.
Foreign Investment Trends
Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading VND985 billion worth of stocks, with significant sales in FPT Corporation and Vinamilk.
Other Indices
The HNX-Index for the Hanoi Stock Exchange dipped slightly by 0.08%, while the UPCoM-Index for the Unlisted Public Companies Market also saw a decrease of 0.27%.
