Banks Respond to the Crisis

Nationwide has confirmed delays in some payments, reassuring customers that direct debits and standing orders were not affected and that delayed transactions would be processed shortly. First Direct also reported issues with both online and mobile banking platforms, impacting payments. Lloyds Banking Group, owning Lloyds Bank, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland, has apologized for the inconvenience and is actively working on a resolution. TSB has also acknowledged the problem and is making efforts to restore services.
