HP Inc. has announced a 2.4% increase in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2025, reaching $13.5 billion. This growth is attributed to a strong performance in the commercial sector of Personal Systems and significant advancements in key growth areas, including AI PCs.

Financial Performance and Future Outlook

The company's net income saw a decrease to $565 million, or $0.59 per diluted share, compared to $622 million in the same quarter of the previous year. Looking ahead, HP forecasts its GAAP diluted net EPS for the second quarter of fiscal 2025 to range between $0.62 and $0.72.

Karen Parkhill, CFO of HP, expressed optimism about the company's financial strategy, stating, "In Q1 we drove solid progress against our financial commitments for the year and are raising our Future Ready savings target from $1.6 to $1.9 billion by the end of fiscal year 2025. We are holding our outlook for the year and remain focused on disciplined execution as we continue to invest for the future."
