Trump Clarifies Tariff Implementation Dates

United States President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to clear up any confusion regarding the global tariffs set to be implemented. He confirmed that the tariffs on Canada and Mexico will indeed take effect on March 4th, as previously announced. Additionally, he stated that China will face an extra 10% tariff starting the same day.

April Tariff Date Still in Effect

Trump also mentioned that the "April Second Reciprocal Tariff date will remain in full force and effect." This announcement comes after reports suggested that the tariffs on Canada and Mexico could be delayed until April 2nd, and a senior White House official indicated that further decisions on tariff policies would be made following a study expected to be released on April 1st.
