Following Wall Street's positive momentum, major stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region mostly saw an uptick on Friday. This surge comes after US President Donald Trump signed a plan for reciprocal tariffs without immediate enforcement, keeping investors' focus on US trade moves and earnings reports from key regional firms.

Japan's Nikkei 225 experienced a slight decline, trading 0.81% lower at 7:20 am CET. Conversely, mainland China's Shanghai Composite saw a modest increase of 0.06%, with the Shenzhen Composite rising by 0.50%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng led the gains, soaring 2.48%, while South Korea's Kospi advanced 0.27%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 also closed higher, gaining 0.19%.
