Adding to the market's unease, January's producer prices surged beyond expectations, casting a shadow over the inflation outlook.

By 6:29 am ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had plummeted by 0.37%, shedding 165 points, while the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 also experienced declines of 0.23% and 0.22%, respectively. Meanwhile, the euro remained steady against the dollar, exchanging at 1.04658 at the same time.
