Premarket Trends Show Dow Jones and S&P 500 Dip as Inflation Rises
Following the Department of Labor Statistics' report indicating a rise in the United States' annual inflation from 2.9% in December to 3% in January, major U.S. stock indexes experienced a mostly downward trend during premarket hours on Thursday. The Dow Jones dropped by 0.11% at 4:20 am ET, while the S&P 500 also saw a decrease of 0.11%. The Nasdaq 100, however, remained flat.

Investors and analysts are now looking forward to the release of fresh reports on producer inflation and the job market, expected before the opening bell.
