Arm Holdings Unveils Its Own Chip with Meta as First Customer

The Financial Times reported on Thursday that Meta Platforms has been secured as an initial client, marking a pivotal moment for Arm's venture into chip manufacturing.

Rene Haas, CEO of Arm, is expected to announce the company's first internally developed chip as early as this summer. The production of this innovative chip will be outsourced to an external manufacturer, with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) speculated to be the likely candidate.
