According to Reuters, US President Donald Trump informed Republican lawmakers that reciprocal tariffs could be imposed as early as today. This announcement has reignited concerns among investors, recalling Trump's campaign promise to retaliate against any country that imposes tariffs on American exports with equivalent tariffs on their imports to the US.
