Amazon Ordered to Halt Use of Nokia's Streaming Patent

Nokia has expressed its satisfaction with the court's decision, urging Amazon to comply with the ruling and engage in negotiations for a licensing agreement on fair terms. "We welcome the decision and hope that Amazon will fulfill its obligation and agree to a license on fair terms," stated Nokia in a communication to Wirtschaftswoche, a German magazine.

This lawsuit is part of a broader legal confrontation initiated by Nokia in 2023, with cases filed not only in Germany but also in the United Kingdom and the European Union's Unified Patent Court.
