The White House expressed concerns over the increasing production of fentanyl in Canada, highlighting that the amount of fentanyl seized at the northern border in the last fiscal year was enough to kill 9.8 million Americans. Additionally, it was noted that illegal border crossings from Canada have reached record highs over the past four fiscal years.
