This period also saw a remarkable 46.6% increase in net income, amounting to $4.78 billion, and a 54.1% surge in diluted earnings per share, reaching $1.24.

For the entire fiscal year 2024, Comcast's revenue totaled $123.7 billion, marking a 1.8% increase from the previous year. The company's net income experienced a 5.2% growth, culminating in $16.19 billion, while diluted earnings per share saw an 11.7% rise to $4.14.

Future Prospects and Strategic Moves

Brian L. Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of Comcast, expressed optimism about the company's future, highlighting the acquisition of Nitel by Comcast Business, the anticipated opening of Epic Universe, and the return of NBA and WNBA games to NBC and Peacock. Roberts also mentioned the Board's confidence in the company's direction, as evidenced by the announcement of a dividend increase for the 17th consecutive year.
