Asian Markets Show Mixed Responses Post US Fed Decision
Following the United States Federal Reserve's announcement to maintain current interest rates, major stock indexes across the Asia-Pacific region displayed mixed trading patterns on Thursday.
At 3:04 am CET, Japan's Nikkei 225 remained unchanged, while Australia's S&P/ASX 200 saw a modest increase of 0.56% by 3:05 am CET. Meanwhile, markets in South Korea, Hong Kong, and China were closed in observance of public holidays.
The dollar experienced a slight decline against the yen, trading 0.54% lower at 3:06 am CET, with the exchange rate at 154.51700.
