Bangkok is on the brink of unveiling a monumental addition to its cultural and tourist landscape. A THB16-billion project, spearheaded by Asset World Corporation (AWC), is set to transform the historic Yaowarat district into a world-class destination by 2029. This ambitious initiative aims to blend Thai-Chinese heritage with modern luxury, offering an unparalleled experience to visitors and locals alike.

Project Overview

Spanning 14 rai (22,400 square meters), the "Woeng Nakornkasem Yaowaraj" project is AWC's most significant investment to date. It will feature an eight-storey Chinese Pavilion, two luxury hotels with over 500 rooms, and 68,000 square meters of premium retail space. The development is designed to meet international green building standards, emphasizing sustainability and cultural preservation.

Strategic Partnerships and Features

With the support of InterContinental Hotels Group and Thai Obayashi, the project will introduce a museum of historic Thai-Chinese artifacts, the largest ballroom in Yaowarat, and an iconic shopping center. The development will also boast extensive green spaces and a rooftop garden, blending historical architecture with contemporary design.
