Samsung's Ambitious AI Strategy with Galaxy S25 Series
In an ambitious move to regain its leading position in the Indian market, Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest Galaxy S25 series. This new lineup promises a groundbreaking leap in Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionalities, aiming to offer consumers an unparalleled AI experience. J B Park, president & CEO of Samsung SouthWest Asia, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering a natural, intuitive, and seamless AI ecosystem across its premium smartphone models.
With the Bengaluru unit set to become Samsung's largest R&D center outside South Korea, and the Noida hub focusing on manufacturing the flagship Galaxy S25 neo series, Samsung is strategically positioning itself to dominate the Indian market. The company also plans to expand its presence in smaller towns, promising to bring the ultimate AI experience to India by 2025.
AI: The Next Big Revolution
Park highlighted the transformative potential of AI, stating, "After the internet, AI is the next big revolution and human simulation technology will go mainstream soon." He envisions AI becoming a commercialized product accessible to 85% of non-premium segment consumers, with applications extending beyond smartphones into wellness and healthcare.
Emphasizing data security, Park assured that the data control tower would reside within the mobile phone, not in the cloud, setting Samsung apart from its competitors.
Expanding Beyond Smartphones
In addition to its smartphone business, Samsung is accelerating its television and electronic home appliances sectors, aiming for a 50-50 market penetration in India. "We will achieve this in three years," Park confidently stated, underscoring Samsung's comprehensive strategy to solidify its market leadership across multiple product categories.
