Amber Connect, a leading telematics company, has announced its ambitious plan to hire 1,000 new employees at its Coimbatore facility over the next two years. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its development, sales, and support teams for both international and domestic markets.

Focusing on Aftermarket Sales and Fleet Management

Dushyant Savadia, the founder and CEO of the Jamaica-based Amber Group, highlighted the company's focus on aftermarket sales of vehicle tracking and fleet management services. With an aim to install its telematics solution on over two lakh vehicles in India, Amber Connect is targeting a revenue of about Rs 100 crore in the next two years.

Coimbatore: A Hub for Talent and Innovation

Savadia emphasized the importance of Coimbatore as a hub for local engineering talent, making it a key location for the company's development teams. The Amber Group, which includes software, payment gateway, and cybersecurity companies, plans to cumulatively hire 3,000 people in Coimbatore within three years. The group is also constructing a 4,000-seat office in the city to accommodate its growing team.
