Coromandel International Limited, a leading agri-inputs company, has recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art soil and leaf testing laboratory at its Kakinada plant. This facility is equipped with the latest technologies, aiming to provide precise soil and plant nutrient analysis. The initiative is set to empower farmers across the country by enabling them to understand their soil's nutrient composition better, thereby making informed decisions on agricultural inputs. Inauguration by Industry Leaders

The laboratory was inaugurated by Arun Alagappan, the executive chairman of Coromandel International Limited, alongside S Sankarasubramanian, the managing director & CEO. The event was attended by other senior members of the leadership team, marking a pivotal moment in the company's commitment to advancing agricultural technology and sustainability.

Advanced Equipment for Precise Analysis

Among the laboratory's advanced equipment are the Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF), which are crucial for the precise detection of essential soil and plant nutrients. Additionally, the facility boasts spectrophotometers, microwave digesters, and near-infrared spectrometers. These tools are designed to provide farmers with valuable insights into soil health and nutrient availability, enabling them to optimize fertilizer usage and adopt precise agricultural practices.
