While the binding agreements are still in the works, Hyundai Motor is set to contribute with its expertise in design, engineering, and technology. In contrast, TVS Motor will focus on manufacturing, marketing, and co-development of the vehicles. This partnership aims to locally produce three-wheelers and globally export micro four-wheelers, leveraging the strengths of both companies.

SangYup Lee, executive VP and head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design, expressed excitement about designing micro-mobility solutions specifically for India. Sharad Mishra, president of group strategy at TVS Motor Company, highlighted the potential of this partnership to redefine last-mile connectivity with next-generation micro-mobility solutions.

Innovative Features

The electric three-wheeler concept introduced by Hyundai Motor is not just a people mover but also serves as a logistics carrier or a rapid-response emergency vehicle. Its foldable seat for wheelchair users and adjustable design for navigating narrow and waterlogged streets showcase the innovative approach towards solving urban mobility challenges.
