Tech Mahindra's Financial Growth Amidst Economic Challenges

BENGALURU: In a recent financial update, Tech Mahindra has reported a modest year-on-year revenue growth of 1.3% in constant currency for the December quarter. Sequentially, the revenue saw an increase of 1.2%. CEO Mohit Joshi highlighted the company's resilience and strategic focus, stating, "We are witnessing an enhanced rate of deal wins in our key verticals and prioritized markets. This, along with consistent expansion in operating margins despite cross-currency headwinds during the quarter, reaffirms our trajectory towards achieving our long-term objectives."

Workforce Adjustments

Despite the positive financials, Tech Mahindra experienced a reduction in its workforce by 3,785 employees in the December quarter, bringing the total employee count down to 150,488. This adjustment reflects the company's ongoing efforts to optimize operations and focus on strategic growth areas.
