City Developments, Singapore's second-largest property developer, is set to begin sales for its latest project, The Orie, on January 18. This exclusive 777-unit condo project is located in the highly sought-after Toa Payoh estate, offering a central location and excellent connectivity.

Pricing and Features

The Orie offers a range of units, from one-bedroom apartments starting at SGD1.28 million (US$935,000) for approximately 48 square meters, to five-bedroom units priced up to SGD3.48 million ($2.5 million).

A Collaborative Effort

This project is a collaboration between City Developments, Frasers Property, controlled by Thai tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, and Japan’s Sekisui House. It marks the first private residential project to be launched in Toa Payoh since 2016.

Market Trends

According to Singapore government data, private residential prices saw a 2.3% rise in the fourth quarter, following a 0.7% drop in the third quarter. City Developments continues to expand its portfolio, owning rental apartments across the U.K., Japan, Australia, and the U.S.
