Exports and Imports Trends

Exports saw a year-on-year increase of 2.8%, signaling a positive shift in global demand for Japanese goods. On the other hand, imports continued their downward trend, decreasing by 5.7% compared to the same period last year. This is the second consecutive month of declining imports, reflecting adjustments in domestic consumption and possibly lower energy prices.
