After a period of moderation in the September quarter, India's business landscape has witnessed a remarkable improvement in the October-December period. The latest NCAER-BSE Business Expectations Survey reveals an encouraging uptick in the Business Confidence Index (BCI).

Key Findings

The BCI surged to 138.4 in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25, up from 134.3 in the previous quarter. This marks a significant recovery from the 127.6 recorded in the same quarter of the last fiscal year, indicating a robust resurgence in business optimism across the country.
