According to sources cited by The Information, these chips are experiencing overheating and technical glitches, leading to a pause in orders from major clients including Microsoft Corporation, Amazon Web Services, Alphabet Inc.'s Google LLC, and Meta Platforms Inc.

The issues with the Blackwell GB200 chips have forced these tech giants to halt some of their orders, awaiting a more stable version of the chips. An Nvidia employee and a Microsoft employee have indicated that the delivery of these updated chips might not occur until the latter half of 2025, significantly impacting the data center expansion plans of these companies.
