Hyderabad recently became the focal point of technological innovation and entrepreneurship as it hosted the Technovate for India – Telangana Edition. This significant event, organized by The Times of India in collaboration with TALROP, aimed to inspire students towards innovative thinking and prepare them for an AI-driven future.
The event saw a convergence of students, faculty, industry leaders, and startup enthusiasts from prestigious institutions like IIIT Hyderabad, Osmania University, JNTUH, and GITAM Hyderabad. The conclave was inaugurated by Kamal Krishnan, who emphasized the importance of innovation in today's fast-evolving tech landscape.
Keynote Insights and Fireside Chat
Chaitanya Peddi, Co-Founder of Darwinbox, delivered an insightful keynote speech, sharing the journey of his billion-dollar HR tech company and the role of foundational technologies in its success. The event also featured a fireside chat between Peddi and Swati Bharadwaj, delving into the challenges of building a global tech company in India.
Adding to the day's highlights, TALROP's Director and COO, Jones Joseph, discussed the company's mission to transform India into a global technology hub, emphasizing the need for accessible platforms that nurture talent and innovation.
Masterclass and Ideathon
Anudeep UX conducted a masterclass on user experience design, showcasing its significance in technology adoption. The event concluded with an Ideathon, where students from various institutions presented innovative solutions for the handloom sector, with Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology emerging as the winners.
