Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar to Receive Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award
In a significant recognition of his contributions to the IT and consulting industry, Ravi Kumar S, the CEO of Cognizant, has been selected to receive the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA). This prestigious award, the highest honor for non-resident Indians (NRIs) and persons of Indian origin (PIOs), will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu during the valedictory session of the convention in Bhubaneswar on January 9.
Ravi Kumar is among 27 distinguished individuals chosen for this year's award, which celebrates the excellence and achievements of the Indian diaspora across various fields. The selection for the PBSA is made based on the recommendations of a jury-cum-awards committee, chaired by the Vice President of India, with the Minister of External Affairs serving as the vice-chair.
