In a groundbreaking announcement, Hyundai Motor Group disclosed that its vehicle sales in the United States soared to an unprecedented 1.7 million units in 2024. This remarkable achievement represents a 3.4% increase from the previous year, 2023. Breaking down the numbers, Hyundai Motor Co. contributed 911,805 units, while its subsidiary, Kia Corp., added 796,488 units to this historic tally.

Overcoming Global Challenges

Despite facing global uncertainties and navigating through regulations such as the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, Hyundai Motor Group managed to secure a solid performance. The company credits this success to the soaring popularity of SUVs, minivans, and eco-friendly models. However, it's worth noting that the group's global sales saw a slight decline of 1.8%, totaling 4.14 million vehicles in 2024 compared to the previous year.
