Hyundai's 2024 Sales Overview

Hyundai Motor Company announced a slight decline in its global sales for the year 2024, with a total of 4.14 million vehicles sold. This represents a 1.8% decrease compared to the previous year.

Domestic vs. Overseas Sales

Breaking down the numbers, domestic sales in South Korea accounted for 705,010 units, marking a 7.5% drop from 2023. Overseas sales, on the other hand, saw a minor decrease of 0.5%, totaling 3.43 million units.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Despite the downturn, Hyundai is setting its sights on a rebound in 2025, aiming for total sales of 4.17 million units. The company plans to enhance its risk response capabilities, strengthen local sales and production systems, and introduce new next-generation hybrid and electric vehicles to solidify its position as a trusted global brand.
