In a groundbreaking initiative, Blinkit has introduced a rapid-response ambulance service in selected areas of Gurgaon, promising arrival within 10 minutes. This service, which commenced on Thursday, is currently in its pilot phase with a fleet of five ambulances.

Albinder Dhindsa, the founder and CEO of Blinkit, emphasized that the primary goal is not profit but to offer an affordable solution to a critical problem. "We are committed to investing in a long-term solution that addresses the urgent need for swift medical assistance," Dhindsa stated.

Future Expansion Plans

Blinkit aims to scale up this innovative service and extend its reach to all major cities across the country within the next two years. The operational model, including potential partnerships with hospitals, remains under consideration. Currently, the ambulances are equipped with essential medical equipment to provide immediate care.
