The price of RON95, a widely used fuel, has seen a decrease of 2.19%, now costing VND20,540 (US$0.81) per liter. Similarly, Biofuel E5 RON92 prices have fallen by 2.12% to VND19,810, and diesel prices have slightly decreased by 0.53% to VND18,630.

Factors Influencing the Market

According to regulators, the recent fluctuations in fuel prices over the last week have been influenced by several key factors. These include the European Union's adoption of a sanction package against Russia, ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, and the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

During this period, RON95 prices dropped by 3-3.1%, while oil prices saw a decrease of 0.8-1.9%. Currently, RON95 is priced at $83.7 per barrel, with diesel at $88.8.
